TC: Through Christ

Impact TC is the youth group here at SBF. It is led by Andy and Cindy Rice. The name comes from the desire to Impact others through Christ. Our logo represents that desire, and each letter is part of our mission.

I Timothy 4:12 is the verse that we have chosen to represent our goals. "Don't let anyone look down on you because of your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity."

We have many events throughout the year that include an annual bonfire/overnight; collecting for and working with the local food bank; a winter retreat; sledding; and making candy and cookies for gift baskets delivered to families of Oasis of Hope. Plus, we love to find unique ways to serve others in our community and church.

Each summer we go on a week-long retreat or work week. We have attended other youth camps in Colorado, Tennessee, Michigan, and Maryland. In addition, we have gone to Missouri, Mississippi, New York, Texas, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Kentucky for relief projects with Next Step Ministries.

Many of our teens are involved in other ministries in the church, such as nursery, children's church, and worship team; as well as being a part of a one-on-one mentorship program with other adults in the church.

Middle School Youth Group

6th - 8th Grade

Wednesday night at the church from 7:00 - 9:00 pm

Our middle school youth group is led by Chris and Chrissy Gallagher.

During Middle school students make decisions concerning God and other Christians. We want to impact these decisions by not just telling them about God’s love but showing them God’s love. And then giving them the opportunity to show God’s love to others. Students will be given the opportunity to make connections that last a lifetime with Jesus, friends and leaders.
